Amsterdam trio Yellow Claw don’t consider themselves a band or project but a “partyconcept.” Formed in 2010 by DJs Jim Aasgier, MC Bizzey, and Snizzle ,Yellow Claw made their name by hosting parties at the Jimmy Woo club in Amsterdam.
Their music is a mix of wide range of genres and often incorporates elements from trap music, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombahton.

Yellow Claw first gained popularity in the middle of 2010, after founding and hosting the Yellow Claw Thursday night party at one of Amsterdam’s most famous night clubs, the Jimmy Woo.


In 2013, Yellow Claw signed to Diplo’s label Mad Decent. On March 7, 2013, they released their first international EP Amsterdam Trap Music.

 

On 20th November 2015 Yellow claw released their new album ‘Blood For Mercy’.Blood For Mercy checks in at 16-tracks in length and features an impressive list of guest appearances from the likes of DJ Mustard, Flux Pavillion, Pusha T, Ty Dolla $ign, Tyga, and many more (nearly every track features an artist).
