Exactly a year ago, the Swedish Electronic Dance Music superstar, Tim Bergling, better known by his stage name Avicii had shocked his million-strong global fan base after he announced his retirement from live touring!

Avicii: ” I’m happier, more stress-free than I’ve been in a long time.”

He was the headliner for Bahrain for the Bahrain Grand Prix concert series, stopping over for a few hours in Cannes before heading out for the final stretch of what, if the 27 year old DJ is to be believed, will be his last and final tour.

Tim had been working since the age of 18 years. Although he enjoyed working apart from he illness (Pancreatitis). If you had seen him in some of the interviews he looked really exhausted and tired because of his tiring lifestyle as a Disc Jockey. Also, he may want to live like a common and a normal guy at his age and enjoy his time with family, friends, etc.

Avicii wrote on his website that:
“I know I am blessed to be able to travel all around the world and perform, but I have too little left for the life of a real person behind the artist.”

Being smart enough, he did not choose to constantly tour around the world and make more money and share music. We believe he has a mission that involves music but his primary motive to find out what are his other capabilities and who Avicii is in truth. He is a seeker, and he will surely find! That’s a guarantee for this Swedish young man.

Talking about his discography really excited every music listener when it comes to his Singles like “Levels”, “Wake Me Up”, “You Make Me”, “Hey Brother”, “The Nights”, “The Days”, “Addicted To You”, and the list continues.
His debut studio album, “True”, topped several charts around the globe, which incorporated certain elements of genres like county music and composes of 5 tracks.

His absence has been felt on many main stages and Ibiza residences over the past year. But Tim has not stopped producing music and will be likely coming out with his new album this year. We’re excited for what’s to come and let’s hope for some new Avicii music!
