LA based Robert Abisi and Nick Shanholtz together form an electric duo called Lost Kings. They produce progressive house, bass house and melodic house music and are signed to Sony Music’s RCA Records. Their breakthrough phase came in 2014,  when they released remixes for artists like Rihanna, Echosmith, Vance Joy, Imagine Dragons, Halsey and more. For their recent releases, they’ve collaborated with Tinashe, Ally Brooke and A$AP Ferg.

Lost Kings is coming down to Delhi and Mumbai this September as part of India’s debut Road To Ultra lineup. In an interview with us, they revealed they can’t wait to be here!

1.You guys have worked with some of the most sought after vocalists like Tinashe, Ally Brooke and more. How was it collaborating with them?
It really was awesome. We are huge fans of them so get to work with them on our own songs was very special for us.

2.Road To Ultra is coming to India for the first time and we’re glad that you guys are a part of it! How much are you excited about playing two cities in India for the first time?
We can’t wait. India is a place we’ve dreamed of going for a long time.

3.We absolutely loved your latest release with Ally and A$AP Ferg. Can you tell us how it came together from beginning to the end? And do you have more stuff coming out soon?

We were working with a writer and came up with the idea for look at us now. We sent it to Ally and she loved it so she came to the studio and we all completed the idea. We had been wanting to get Ferg on a track because we are huge fans and he loved this song so it worked out perfectly.And yes, we do have a new single coming soon featuring the amazing Sabrina Carpenter.
4.You guys have released so many stunning remixes in the past. Do you have any remixes coming out this year?
We may surprise some people and put out a remix soon. Never say never.
It’s been an insanely fun journey and it’s crazy how fast it’s been. We work so well together.

5.Now that you have over 100,000+ people following your for your music. Do you guys have any future plans to release an album?
There are no album plans at the moment.

6.Do you have any special message for all your Indian fans out here?
We can’t wait to see you in September. It’s going to be a very special time for us.
