KSHMR`s much awaited 6 city tour with Sunburn will commence this weekend starting from Delhi which is a special charity event named “KARMA”. The tour is set to spread over 2 weekends and will be the biggest Sunburn Arena so far. Before this tour kicks off, we would like to give you Six reasons why you cannot afford to miss this tour.

  1. A live orchestral performance in Delhi will be followed by his normal DJ shows. Here is how KSHMR describes his upcoming shows to be, `The show in Delhi will be a live orchestral experience. I have also prepared a few new tracks/edits that I will use for the other shows. So yeah this tour is going to be special.` To give you an idea of his orchestral performances, heres a clip of KSHMR playing Bazaar live at Ultra Miami 2017.

2. He just released a track with Sonu Nigam named Underwater. Here is the amazing story behind how this collaboration happened, `My Dadaji is a huge fan of Sonu Nigam. So we met him before heading to Sunburn Hills in Pune last year and later we worked on what is now ‘Underwater’. He was an amazing guy to work with. He was so kind, open minded & creative. He also took great interest on my Dadaji, asked about his health and was an amazing experience.` And according to our little birdies, you might get to hear Sonu Nigam live on stage along with KSHMR for their latest collab called “Underwater” exclusively at Delhi & Mumbai. 3. KSHMR headlined the Sunburn Festival for the last couple of years and also made the official anthem for them. Heres what he had to say when asked if he is going to make the official anthem yet again? `I have just started making it and even the people at Sunburn dont know about it yet. I thought Mandala was like a brother of Bazaar. This time it will be a little different. So if someone from Sunburn is watching, I am going to send it over pretty soon.` The previous anthems were called Bazaar (2015) & Mandala (2016). Here is a preview of the anthem from last year.

4. He is likely to feature a few amazing Bollywood remixes/mashups. After previously remixing Jimmy Aaja he was asked how he chose to remix that one and here`s what he had to say, `My dad came to India when he was 25.This song was around that time when there was this trend of disco in bollywood. It was just like a weird combination. I kinda like such music. Its kinda cheesy but I like it. I can relate to it because I make dance music but I use a lot of strings. So thats how I chose it.` Here`s a clip of Jimmy Aaja (KSHMR Remix) for his set at Ultra Japan.

5. He loves India, Indian music and also Indian artists. Here`s what he had to say when he was asked his views on Hasit Nanda (Pianist from Delhi), `He is just an incredible talent. Honestly I am really jealous of him. He`s got this amazing pitch that he listens to something and can instantly play it. I think we should all be jealous of Hasit Nanda. He took me to his home last year and I met his dog and his family fed me some amazing food.` They are rumored to have a collaboration, the track could well be featured during this tour. Hasit is also likely to be a part of the entire KSHMR India Tour.

6. KSHMR is the face of India when it comes to EDM. He says his Hindi is weak, but for anyone who has listened to his tracks, they depict our culture perfectly. This shows that music has the power to connect. It can lead to an American with Indian roots, have a name for himself on the back of his Indian sounds. He is responsible for making these Indian sounds so popular in the EDM scene. Therefore the onus is on us fans now to support what his music has stood for.
