The Chainsmokers is an American DJ/production duo consisting of Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart.They are one of the Hottest acts in the scene right now. Initially, they blew up because of their track “Selfie” and they became the most successful EDM-pop acts of 2016-17 with singles like Roses, Don’t let me down, Closer and their successful album ” Memories…Do Not Open”

On 1st Jan 2018 The Chainsmokers teased a new logo and fans were excited as rebranding means new tracks. However the Chainsmokers have decided to try something different, They still haven’t returned to EDM.The track has Drew is singing and there is a piano going on, Sound designing isn’t very complex. Production wise “Sick boy” is better than MDNO.However, this isn’t exactly an “EDM-Pop” track.

Per the song’s press release, “‘Sick Boy’ is a song about self-identity in today’s world and standing tall in the face of what you can and can’t control.” This week began with news breaking of Alex Pall’s now-ex-girlfriend exposing him for cheating, so it’s somewhat apropos timing.

We still think this track is a great start to 2018 for the Chainsmokers.
