Psytrance is becoming the new mainstream and the credit goes to the Israeli duo Aviram Saharai & Matan Kadosh, better known as Vini Vici. They have collaborated with giants such as Armin Van Buuren and W&W and now have now added fellow producer and DJ Timmy Trumpet to the Impressive list.

The track was first premiered by Timmy Trumpet at Timeout 72 Festival in late December last year it has been featured on numerous podcasts, including Hardwell On Air 354ASOT 852Mainstage Radio 003 and Smash The House 251. Vini Vici also played it during their set at EDC Mexico, while Timmy played it at Road To Ultra Australia last weekend.

They only have teased it but it sounds really interesting with the intro having exotic vocals and having an African touch and then the drums in the intro sounds pretty standard but in the later part the drop really has a unique vibe with vocals coming in again with famous psytrance bassline and some white noise. We believe this will be a mainstage banger.

Vini Vici’s last major collaboration, ‘Chakra‘ proved to be a smash hit, spending 6 weeks atop Beatport’s Psy-Trance chart. In addition to this, their biggest release, ‘Great Spirit‘ spent a staggering 49 weeks in the Beatport Psy-Trance top 10, before dropping to 25. Despite its release in December 2016, ‘Great Spirit’ is still comfortably sitting at #10 once again. Meanwhile, Timmy Trumpet’s famous ‘Psy or Die‘ collaboration with Carnage also sat on the top spot for a solid month. Plus, his track ‘Oracle‘ sat at #2 for 3 weeks – just missing out on the top spot by a whisker. With all these accolades around, expectations are surely high for Timmy Trumpet and Vini Vici’s upcoming collaboration.
