After the longest hiatus in the group’s history, Disclosure have been on a seemingly impromptu release spree, dropping 5 songs in 5 days. “Moonlight” on Monday, “Where Angels Fear to Tread” on Tuesday, “Love Can Be So Hard” on Wednesday, “Funky Sensation” featuring Gwen McCrae on Thursday, and “Where You Come From” on Friday.
Talking to Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show while premiering “Where You Come From” , The brothers ( Howard and Guy Lawrence ) a.k.a Disclosure spoke about their forthcoming third album.
“We seem to be back right now. It’s definitely been a while. 100 percent an album is being made – that’s for sure. Whether or not these songs make it [on the album] is yet to be seen. We’ve been writing a lot. We reckon we’ve put together about 80 to 100 different ideas over the past year, but we have no idea which of them, if any, will actually be on the album. It’s a serious track listing job to come now. Now we’re going to start moving onto the next step and start working with some vocalists.”
The release date for the EP has not been specified yet as Disclosure is still working on the track listing of the album. All the five singles released so far indicate that Disclosure are in no mood to slow down and fans can expect a lot from them.
