In the new additions to the lineup, Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty One Pilots, THE 1975 and Martin Garrix will be the headlining Sziget Festival 2019. The last year’s edition was a quite unforgettable one, with memories remaining ever vivid and heartwarming and now it’s time again for a new one with a million feelings. As we got used to, the Sziget line-up is always surprising and exciting. 2019 will be no different. The line-up is already more than exciting featuring Richard Ashcroft, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Chvrches, Jungle, Kodaline, IDLES, Superorganism, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Pale Waves, Maribou State, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Of Mice & Men, Boy Pablo, Parcels, Yungblud, Alma, Tamino, Gang Of Youths, The Blaze and more amazing artists to be announced soon.
Foo Fighters, the rock gods, is an American rock band formed in Seattle, founded by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. Known for songs like The Pretender, Best of You, Run, we are expecting them to be one of the biggest moments. When it comes to Florence + The Machine, we couldn’t say much that you don’t already know. The splendid vocalist and her band headlined Glastonbury in 2015 following two further number one albums, making Florence Welch Glastonbury’s first British female headliner of this century. Her presence on stage will ensure that the whole audience has Got The Love on Sziget’s ‘Island of Freedom’.
Martin Garrix is one of the most successful DJs at only 22 years old. Making his own way to the top with Animal, and collaborating with big names in the industry of music and producing top hits will be our main target for his set.
