Google releases the top searched trends of every year. Avicii was the second most searched on Google globally. Second to only the Football World Cup which took place in Russia earlier this year. The third most searched on Google was late American rapper Mac Miller. The death was Avicii is still a shocker to many in the industry. He has left a hole artistically which will never be filled by anyone.
The other artists within the industry to also make it to the top Google trends were Swedish House Mafia, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Benny Benassi, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Laidback Luke, Steve Angello & Marshmello.
