Even though The Chainsmokers’ debut album ‘Memories… Do Not Open‘ received mixed reviews and had its fair share of critics, its undeniable that their mainstream success with singles like ‘Closer’, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ revolutionized EDM world. It facilitated many other DJs to crossover with radio friendly songs. The Chainsmokers have now shared the ‘Memories’ documentary, which followed the duo on their crazy rollercoaster ride post their unexpected and quick rise to fame.

Apart from the highlights of the American duo’s worldwide arena tour, the documentary features interviews from their family members, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Zedd and ofcourse the boys themselves; Drew Taggart and Alex Pall. Drew and Alex bare it all and get candid about a lot of topics in this hour long documentary. It was quite interesting to watch them address the overwhelming amount of hate they received online and how they dealt with it.

‘Memories’ documentary is well directed, shot and keeps the viewers hooked throughout. It’s a great watch for an insight into what goes on in the daily life of a superstar DJ and how The Chainsmokers juggle with their massive tour while working on new music.
