Global event promoter giants Live Nation’s UK division has launched a separate entity called Electronic Nation. The new division will facilitate Live Nation to focus and expand their electronic dance music events in United Kingdom under the brands Creamfields, Steel Yard and also for other artist tours across the UK.

Live Nation is responsible for the exponential growth of Creamfields to be among the biggest festival brands in the world since acquiring it back in 2012. Apart from the 4-day mega festival held in England annually in the month of August, which attracts over 70,000 attendees every day, Creamfields has made its mark internationally with their expansions. The festival has established itself as a global brand after hosting successful editions at Brazil, Ibiza, Argentina, Hong Kong, Chile, Australia to name a few. The Steel Yard show concept, which was launched only 3 years ago, has also hosted sold-out shows for likes of Eric Prydz, Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren in Liverpool and London to solidify their position as the premiere event in the UK.

Electronic Nation will be spearheaded by Scott Barton, who is currently MD of Cream. In his 25-year rich experience in the music industry, he has worked with some of the biggest names in dance music and is a catalyst for the rise of the electronic music scene in the UK.

Speaking on the launch of Electronic Nation, Denis Desmond, Chairman of Live Nation UK & Ireland said:

“With Scott’s outstanding record managing global brands Cream and Creamfields, this new division is a major advance for Live Nation and for artists and acts in this genre,” said Denis Desmond, Chairman Live Nation UK and Ireland.”

Scott Barton added;

“Electronic music has always been at the heart of what we do. We have a dedicated team who work hard to connect fans to electronic music events across the UK. As the scene continues to grow, the knowledge and experience we have is key to our success.”

Creamfields 2019 will be held from 22nd to 25th August in Daresbury. This year’s festival will see exclusive UK appearances from Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia. The lineup also boasts of powerhouses like Eric Prydz, deadmau5, Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, The Chemical Brothers, Tiesto and more!
