Electric Castle is all geared up for its massive 2019 edition. This edition will take place, as usual, in the most bewildering place from Cluj at Bonțida, Banffy Castle on 17th– 22 July. Undoubtedly, a unique location for 4 days and 5 nights.

This year line-up is what we call a perfect representation for an imposing event. We talk about Florence+The Machine, Limp Bizkit, Nils Frahm, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Bring me the Horizon, Zeds Dead, Metric, The Vaccines, Boys Noize, Sofi Tukker, Alternosfera, Suie Paparude, CTC and many others. By far the most unexpected occurrence of this year is Nils Frahm, a pianist, and composer. Some describe his music as a hypnotic experience. Frahm is one of the few artists of that music genre whose concerts are always sold. Limp Bizkit has been nominated for the Grammy Award three times. The five albums released between 1997 and 2011 sold over 50 million copies. They will now perform for the second time in Romania. The band was among the first to combine two completely different styles of music, rock, and rap.

Oscars winner, rock star, fashion icon, and tech investor, Jared Leto confirmed his presence at Electric Castle 2019, with his brother, Shannon Leto. But besides Jared Leto’s reputation of megastar, he managed to sell over 15 million albums in the two decades from the launch of the band. Walk on water, Rescue me, Kings and Queen are the latest 30 Seconds to Mars hits, making a new style with strong electro influences.

For almost a decade, the public in Romania is waiting for Florence + The Machine concert, and Electric Castle finally transforms this dream into reality. It is one of the most creative indie bands of the last decade, built around the fascinating personality of the soloist, composer, and founder Florence Welch.
