Budweiser’s involvement in India’s dance music landscape has brought in a lot of good to the scene with internationally renowned show concepts like Boiler Room, Sensation and Electronic Daisy Carnival (EDC) making their debut in India. The beer brand’s youth culture platform Budweiser Experiences has flagged off many musical platforms in the recent past and among those is BUDX. The BUDX is back to take over another Indian city – Hyderabad this September after successful outings in Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore.
The one-day event on 13th September will have some of the finest underground acts showcasing their talents on two stages. LA-based producer Truncate will be headlining the techno stage with Blot!, Dotdat and OX7GEN on support duties. The best of India’s ever-growing hip hop scene will be on display with Gully Gang Showcase featuring young quartet Aavrutti, JD, ShahRule, DJ Proof, D’Evil and the boss man himself – DIVINE. Delhi based duo Seedhe Maut will also be performing alongside their longtime collaborator Sez On The Beat. Joining this strong roster will be one of the most exciting independent artists coming to the fore – Lifafa, who’s riding high on the success of his debut album ‘Jaago’ released this year.
The venue hosting BUDXHYD will be the city’s favorite new hotspot Prism Nightclub, as they add one more feather on their cap of hosting another high profile event featuring top musical artists.
