Anjunabeats mainstay Grum has finally revealed the release date for his long-awaited album ‘Deep State’. After almost a year of announcing the sophomore album, Deep State is finally going to see the light of the day. Grum had also put out the first single from Deep State ‘Never Have to be Alone’ in September last year, however, Anjuna Family had to go through a prolonged wait due to delays pertaining to some undisclosed unforeseen circumstances.
This was not the first time for Grum as his never-released album ‘Human Touch’, initially scheduled for 2014, was postponed to 2015 and then eventually canceled. Fans of Grum can only hope that Deep State will not see a similar fate. Deep State will be the long overdue follow up to his debut album ‘Heartbeats’, released back in 2010.

The announcement of the revived release date of November 8 for Deep State is accompanied with a scintillating track off the album, called ‘Stay‘. The riff-dominated cut is believed to be a throwback to the rave sounds of the 90s. First heard on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats Volume 14 mix compilation, ‘Stay’ features invigorating vocals from British singer Nathalie Shay. The 10-track album is set to put Grum’s signature progressive trance sound coupled with haunting vocals on a full display.
