Across the past few months, ‘NEW WIP’ featuring Atlanta rapper MadeinTYO has received a serious amount of attention in both the dance music and urban space. The effortlessly blended hip-hop crossover track has now received remixes from Chris Lorenzo, PIERCE & Volt, and NXSTY, out now via Mad Decent. Alongside the reworks, Boombox Cartel has also announced his highly anticipated Dia De Los Muertos tour, kicking off Halloween night in LA, this October.
The ‘NEW WIP’ remixes see UK talent & one half of Anti Up, Chris Lorenzo flip the mainstage anthem into a four to the floor house heater. Taking the heavier route, PIERCE & Volt add a dubstep leaning flair to the wonky original, while NXSTY slows things down for a trap-influenced, peak-time rail wrecker.

Fans can expect to hear the aforementioned remixes at a show very soon, as Boombox Cartel just announced his three-date Dia De Los Muertos tour. Scheduled to land in Los Angeles, El Paso & San Marcos, the rare DDLM branded shows will see unique production and unheard of IDs, fresh off the release of his annual DDLM mix.
