Ritviz is unarguably one of the most exciting Indian electronic acts to rise through the ranks in past couple of years. The 23-year-old producer who is confirmed to be one of the support acts for One Plus Festival featuring Katy Perry and Dua Lipa in November this year shot to fame with his mega hit ‘Udd Gaye’ which was released in 2017 after being handpicked by Nucleya and Tanmay Bhat for Bacardi House Party Sessions in collaboration with All India Backchod. But Ritviz is proving time & time again that he is no one-hit wonder with steady flow of releases following Udd Gaye.

After putting out his ‘VED’ EP last year and a super catchy cut ‘Sage’ earlier this year, RitvRi is all set to unveil his debut LP titled ‘DEV’. The Pune based DJ has just dropped 2 new singles from the upcoming album, ‘Liggi’ and ‘Chalo Chalein’ with hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut. Known for his bass-heavy productions incorporated with Indian classical music elements, Ritviz Srivastava has also collaborated with his mother Anvita Bharti for one of the 8 tracks on his album.

Ritviz released the following statement after announcing his debut album:

“It took about four years to work on the album. It’s more than just music, it’s breaking away from the shackles and living for the moment. DEV is my debut full-length album and it has everything that I want to showcase — my soundscape that I have cultivated over all these years. My mother, who is a music teacher, imbibed a strong musical influence in me whilst I was growing up and it’s fantastic to have one of my mentors collaborate with me on this album. In fact, I have incorporated most of my early influencers in this album. In my initial years, I used to wake up to my mom singing Bandish. Then, came the VH1 era and my teen years were spent listening to pop music. But, post-2011-12, when I started producing music, electronic music was what really drew me closer to production and that’s when I created ‘Mukti’ and ‘Beatific’ and started my entire journey.”

Ritviz is also all set to launch his very own festival ‘YUV Fest’ on October 11th, which he says is a dream coming true. In partnership with Bacardi and curated by Ritviz along with his longtime manager Rahul Sinha, ‘YUV Fest’ will be traveling to 9 Indian cities across India. For the one-day event to be held in Pune for DEV album launch, Ritviz will be joined by Sickflip, Seedhe Maut, Dorwin. ‘YUV Fest’ also boasts of a strong roster of comedians Kenny Sebastian, Aadar Malik, and Sumukhi Suresh. You can get the tickets for ‘Yuv Fest’ here.
