Whenever I get notified about Lane 8‘s release, I can never control my excitement. Be it his popular mixtapes or even releases from other artists on the label ‘This Never Happened‘, my heart and emotion go all over the place with pure joy and happiness. It’s always a pleasure and I believe a blessing to hear his stuff, we’re so damn lucky. His recent ‘Spring Mixtape 2020‘ which dropped a month ago once again delivered on so many levels! a few months ago i went into the mountains on a vision quest of sorts. i stayed in a cabin that had a huge painting of a bear with its arms stretched out and i spent a lot of time staring at that bear while i made this song.

Coming to his brilliant new release ‘Bear Hug‘, Daniel once again creates magic with his beautiful melodic sound. The track takes a slightly darker path and as the track goes on it feels like you’re unfolding a mystery. The catchy melody and the deep bass takes excellent care of maintaining the progressive vibe of the track. It’s a certified fresh and unique tune that is born from Lane 8‘s genius-level craftsmanship.
