With the increasing amount of COVID-19 cases in Europe, the Dutch Prime Minister has officially announced the cancellation of all the events until September 1, 2020. The Dutch government has tightened up restrictions on live events due to the virus outbreak. Many major Dutch festivals such as Mysteryland, debut edition of Sensation ‘Beyond’, Kingsland Festival, Awakenings, Pinkpop, Best Kept Secret, Harmony of Hardcore, Defqon.1 Weekend Festival & more have postponed/rescheduled their 2020 editions.
Awakenings Festival was all set for its 20th Anniversary edition featuring Carl Cox. Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Reinier Zonneveld & more.

COVID-19 outbreak has drastically affected the music industry with all the festivals rescheduling their dates to next year.
