Many dance music enthusiasts call 2010 to 2014, “The Golden Era of EDM” and if you’re one of them, this set by Blasterjaxx is definitely for you! The nostalgia that you’ll experience in this mix will take you down the memory lane so hard that you’ll be begging to go back in time.

Let’s wind back a couple of years and I’ll try my best to give you a glimpse of what that so-called “Golden Era of EDM” was all about. Starting with the biggest artist in the industry at the moment, the 17-year-old Martin Garrix took the world by storm with his massive hit ‘Animals‘ in 2013. Robbert van de Corput a.k.a Hardwell was doing magic with his tours, releases, and also with his record label, Revealed Recordings which opened up a whole new world of amazing young artists. We also got some sad moments that came in the form of Swedish House Mafia‘s break-up announcement but we also received an eternal gift from them, i.e; ‘Don’t You Worry Child‘ in 2012. Plus, we had the industry’s most loved artist by our side, Tim Bergling a.k.a. Avicii, who was still touring up to 2014. The above few mentions are maybe just 10% of what the 2010-2014 period was about.

Please feel to add your favorite moments from this golden time period in the comments.

But let’s come back to the main topic which is the excellent DJ-set by the Dutch duo, Blasterjaxx! Known for their big-room sounds, Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf always deliver on some crazy-powerful energetic tracks. The Maxximize Recordings label founders also had a great time in that timeless golden era with memorable tracks likes, ‘Mystica‘, ‘Fifteen‘ (Hardwell Edit), ‘Titans‘ (w/ Badd Dimes), ‘Snake‘ and many more BANGERS. And trust me, as of today in the year 2020, these above tracks haven’t lost their charm and are still capable of making the crowd go nuts!

With that said, get ready to enjoy the nostalgia of those awesome classic tracks from “The Golden Era of EDM“.
