As a skill-serving producer and DJ, MOVADA has co-written and produced for artists such as The Vamps, lending his craft further to remixes for artists including MØ, Martin Solveig, The Him and Kodaline, and now for 2020, he gets set to take the stage in solo form with his debut release ‘Stay’. Not much is known about the upcoming producer so far, but on ‘Stay’ he flexes his muscles in showing how he’s earnED his industry stripes, spinning the sultry late-90s R&B hook of Blackstreet’s ‘Don’t Leave Me’ into modern, fresh and deeper tropical territory.
Commencing with simmering vibrations and an edgy-yet-soulful vocal delivery on the buoyant, feel-good release, ‘Stay’ evolves into a potent dive of deep and sunshine-ready house before a female topline enters into the mix with an impassioned power, creating a push-and-pull delivery between the sexes that is punctuated with underground synth sounds, a key-heavy melody and finger snaps that pop.
