DJ Sammy and internationally renowned PR agent Oliver Franke have teamed to launch their very own MyClubroom Recordings imprint. The label is a global melting pot for pure hedonistic club music, influenced by a sense of original Balearic vibes and Berlin’s musical industrial energy. Back in the year 2008, MyClubroom concept was created and was quickly awarded “Best Club Radio Show” by the Spanish edition of hugely influential industry publication DJ Mag. DJ Sammy was also awarded the “Best Revelation Event” during his 3 year Ibiza club night residency in Privilege.
The concept saw DJ Sammy welcoming some of the most iconic names in the industry onto the show. Headline acts such as Jonathan Ulysses, DBN, Sander Van Doorn, Cosmic Gate, Plastic Funk, John Acquaviva, Shapeshifters, Oliver Koletzki, Dada Life, Laidback Luke, M.A.N.D.Y, Bob Sinclair and John Dahlbäck which have all appeared on MyClubroom Recordings Radio.
On the launch, DJ Sammy stated:
“I have founded MyClubroom Recordings together with a friend and business partner, Oliver Franke from Berlinieros PR. We are working together for 25 years now. He was the first, who brought me to Germany for his Loveparade event LovesternGalaktika. I love him, but he has a big mistake!!! He is a Bayern Munich fan and I am a Real Madrid member hahaha! But in music, we understand each other very well.”
With a keen focus on discovering new sounds and freshest talents, MyClubroom is also a prominent platform for established DJs, artists, and producers. MyClubroom Recordings is expanding its signature sound to clubs, festivals, pool parties, and beach bars around the globe. Quite simply the hottest sounds in the world’s coolest venues. The first release on MyClubroom was recently the new DJ Sammy track “This Is Who We Are” together with Australian singer Chloe Marin. Next will be DJ Sammy vs. Miss van der Kolk with “I Fly With You” and also new mixes of “Sunlight (2020)”.
