Emma Maidenberg and Nick Ortega’s acclaimed Synthwave collaborative project PRXZM has returned with a blissful new tune which takes us back into the good times of the 80’s. In the past few years, the duo has toured the U.S. extensively and has shared stage with the biggies Marshmello, Illenium, Jai Wolf to name a few. The early part of 2020 saw them release their 3-track ‘Let Me Fall’ EP and a couple of singles following it, and now the present their latest offering ‘Slow Motion’. Like their every release, PRXZM stun the listeners with their signature sound comprised of Nick’s soaring, expertly blended synth progressions and piano melodies, and Emma’s pure, smooth vocals and honest lyrical musings, driven with catchy percussive rhythms.
‘Slow Motion’ is is heavily influenced by the warm tones of cassette tapes and the iconic, synthesized drums from the 80s & radiates a gentle retro energy. Layering airy soundscapes with cool, silky vocals, PRXZM takes a simple yet effective approach with this release.
