Belgian melodic house mastermind Jerro has returned to Lane 8’s This Never Happened imprint with a 5-track EP. ‘Closer’ EP is Jerro’s third EP contribution to the imprint which follows his previous EP releases such as ‘The Fool’, ‘Pantheon’ & more recently a collaboration with his labelmate Ocula.
Jerro’s latest offering to Lane 8’s imprint accentuates his evergrowing talent and keen aptitude for melodic house music. The lead single ‘Demons’ featuring Montreal native Sophia Bel sees Jerro effortlessly intertwinesSophia’s graceful vocals with his serene production. ‘Tunnel Vision’ is only the second offering from Jerro that features a vocalist, while the title track ‘Closer’ utilizes a subtle vocal overlay over a deeper progressive house melody. ‘Ignis’ lends an atmospheric soundscape while ‘Sturdy’ showcases an engaging progression.
