SAGA Festival’s Debut Edition Delivered An Incredible New Dance Music Experience

Last week, ALDA & Insomniac Events‘ immersive music experience SAGA Festival debuted in Bucharest with over 100 international and local artists. The inaugural edition of the festival titled “Take Off Edition” was incredible with a formidable audience, unique designs and spectacular shows. The festival hosted the scene’s most esteemed artists over six ground-breaking stages named SPARK, HEAT, breath-taking mainstage, SOURCE & more.

The festival’s first day featured unprecedented sets from Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Sigala, Don Diablo and Tiësto. The HEAT stage welcomed underground music royalty such as Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex and ANNA. Some of the most prolific names in house and melodic techno scene such as Franky Rizardo, Sonny Fodera, Mathame and ARTBAT took over the SPARK stage.

The second day was no ordinary, living up-to the expectations prominent acts such as Avalan, MORTEN, NERVO, Nicky Romero delivered trailblazing performances. The day-two schedule was packed with eclectic sets from highly renowned acts including Joyhauser, Deborah De Luca, Dubfire, Chris Leibing, UMEK, Solardo and Meduza

The third and the final day of the first-ever SAGA Festival had a meticulously crafted lineup, it had the best of electronic music. Incredible sets from the dance music’s taste-makers Laidback Luke, Oliver Heldens, Vini Vici, Alan Walker surprised the festival attendees. Legendary techno mainstays Adam Beyer, Carl Cox were joined by Enrico Sangiuliano, Eli Brown, Hot Since 82, FISHER & more performed at two different hangars each one dedicated to Techno & House music. Over 45,000 fans from more than 30 countries from around the world were gathered for an incredible feat for a brand-new dance music experience.
