Martin Garrix and Maejor‘s project AREA21 has released their first-ever album ‘Greatest Hits Vol. 1‘. The album took around five years in the making but it was absolutely worth the long wait. The duo-project formed in 2016 has unleashed the 12-track LP being one of AREA21‘s major projects till date. ‘Greatest Hits Vol. 1‘ takes the fans on a sonic and visual journey through our galaxy via immersive electronica-inflected pop songs and animated videos.

We’ve created this entire universe on the album and now we want to learn how to translate that into the live performances using the newest technologies. This project means so much to us both musically and conceptually.

The 12-track LP features their previous releases such as “La La La”, “Lovin’ Every Minute”, “Own The Night”,“Followers,” and also 6 brand new tracks including the lead single and latest in the series of animated videos ‘Time Machine’. ‘Greatest Hits Vol. 1‘ is truly an album that transcends genre classifications and brings both artists’ respective strengths to the forefront.
