Moderat, one of Electric Castle 8’s most anticipated headliners, drew 54,000 fans to the main stage on Thursday. Zdob and Zdub, Editors, and Sofi Tukker performed on the main stage. At the Booha Stage, the party went until daylight, and the Beach Stage will dance until Monday.
Electric Castle veterans and newcomers alike should remember that they can fund the restoration of Bánffy Castle till Sunday. Each PET or aluminum can collected at particular spots will generate donations for the castle’s renovation.

More than 65,000 people attended #EC8’s third and most rigorous day at Bánffy domain. Enter Shikari returned after 6 years and blew away the crowd with an amazing set. “Dance like no one’s watching!” urged the artists onstage. After dedicated their most passionate songs to the LGBT+ community, they added, “Take care of each other.”

July 17, 2022 – Gorillaz – surprise moment with lăutari at Electric Castle

Seeing your favorite singers live is a reason to celebrate, but hearing them hum their best-known lines to fiddlers from your nation is unforgettable. 63,000 people enjoyed the first Gorillaz concert in Romania on Saturday. Not the only surprise. Bootie Brown, POS, De la Sol, and Michelle Ndegwa joined the performers for 2 1/2 hours. The show finished with “Clint Eastwood,” Best Song of 2001, performed with accordion, tambourine, and araimanic fiddlers.
Fans of all ages sung with Gorillaz until the finish of the concert. It was an emotional evening that will be remembered by all. Caribou and Disclosure also gave memorable performances before Aurora tonight. The Norwegian artist returns to Bonţida, which she fell in love with in 2021, during her first trip to Romania. Last night of the event will also feature Irina Rimes, Alternosfera, and Subcarpati.
