Ideaison introduces RETROSPEKT, the in-person extension of their virtual event series, in an intimate, immersive live-show format in Los Angeles.


On November 5, 2022, Kashuk’s hometown of Los Angeles will host the first RETROSPEKT quarterly party. SOHMI, Life on Planets, MAAD, RM47, and Maddy Maia B2B Tottie will play at RETROSPEKT, which will include 360-degree projection mapping of art around the dance floor and various immersive “selfie” chambers (Sisters of Sound Music).AR-technology headsets will provide the audience with realistic sound and picture, transferring them to a distinct ambiance. Live tattoo artists will be on hand. All tickets for visitors 21+ include 2 drinks and start at $15 for early birds.

Lauren Kashuk launched RETROSPEKT during the pandemic to fight for women, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ individuals in the arts.
Lauren Kashuk is proud to deliver the newest RETROSPEKT event through Ideaison, the firm she founded in 2020. Ideaison focuses on diversity and inclusion to create unforgettable events with relevant culture and creative narrative. Ideaison booked Moore Kismet, MORGXN, Kaleena Zanders, and LP Giobbi for 2020. Ideaison and RETROSPEKT are reinventing the business by promoting equality in the performing arts.
Kashuk says he has a “unique vision” for the live event. This year, it means advocating for people who aren’t given a chance to shine. Women won’t be able to make decisions at large music firms or impact culture unless they host their own performances. I’ve never seen anything like that. My community made it. “The series gives me hope.”
RETROSPEKT has worked with To Write Love On Her Arms and BroglieBox to create an inclusive place. On November 5, a TWLOHA pop-up will be accessible. BroglieBox will sell wellness boxes on-site.
