Originally written and recorded by The Who and released on their 1971 album Who’s
Next, Behind Blue Eyes was notably covered by Limp Bizkit in 2003 and went on to be a global hit for the group, reaching No.1 in the Czech Republic and Sweden and
charted in the top three in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Norway.

Matt Fax’s version keeps the iconic vocal intact, but brings the song definitively into his space. Teaming up with singer, composer and one-third of love drum & bass band Sleeping Dragon Chris Howard, he juxtaposes the plaintive lyrics alongside soaring progressive melodies and gritty synth lines to create a truly epic, memorable dance anthem.

“Behind Blue Eyes started as a personal version of this classic The Who track I was listening a lot while making the album. The lyrics totally echoed what I was feeling, when you feel like nobody understands you. It's one of the most important track of the upcoming album.” – Matt Fax
