Over 95,000 festivalgoers from all over the world joined their favourite international acrobats, animators, dancers, and musicians to enjoy the opening day of the UNTOLD festival. Fans and performers alike experienced a night of pure magic across all eight UNTOLD festival stages on Thursday.


During the official opening ceremony, fans were treated to a performance by DJ Alok, who is now ranked #4 on the Top 100 DJ Mag list. DJs are the newest draw at UNTOLD, but the fans themselves are the festival’s largest draw, as one Brazilian put it. Alok’s live performance has raised the bar for enjoyable festival experiences.

Cluj-Arena welcomed Topic for the first time, and the festival quickly won his heart. The German DJ was astounded by the crowd’s reaction as the festival began.
