On Sunday, August 11, 2024, the third and final day of Summer Well Festival brought the event to a vibrant close, with a lineup of diverse and captivating performances across multiple stages at Domeniul Știrbey in Buftea. The day was marked by energetic performances, heartfelt melodies, and unforgettable moments that left festival-goers in high spirits.
Main Stage Highlights
The Main Stage on Sunday evening opened with Stone, an indie rock band known for their catchy melodies and high-energy performances. Their set was the perfect way to kick off the evening, as they quickly engaged the crowd with their lively tunes.
Following them, Joker Out, a Slovenian band that blends indie and alternative rock, took the stage. Their unique sound and charismatic stage presence won over the audience, making them one of the standout acts of the day.
As the night progressed, Two Door Cinema Club took over. The indie rock band delivered a set filled with their signature upbeat and danceable tracks, including hits like “What You Know” and “Undercover Martyn.” Their performance was a highlight of the festival, with the crowd singing along to every word.
The final act of the night on the Main Stage was Keane. The British alternative rock band, known for their piano-driven melodies and emotive lyrics, brought a sense of nostalgia to the festival with tracks like “Somewhere Only We Know” and “Everybody’s Changing.” Their set was a fitting end to the main stage performances, leaving the audience in a reflective and appreciative mood.
Sunset Stage
Over at the Sunset Stage, the evening started with Paulina. Her pop songs, characterized by catchy and emotional lyrics, created an intimate and engaging atmosphere for those gathered at the stage.
Rareș took the stage, blending indie and pop with heartfelt lyrics that resonated deeply with the audience. His performance was both soulful and captivating, adding to the diverse mix of genres at the festival.
The night on the Sunset Stage concluded with Lucky Love. Known for her upbeat and vibrant pop tracks, she brought a lively energy to the stage, getting the crowd dancing and singing along as the night drew to a close.
Electro Punk Club
The Electro Punk Club offered a different kind of energy, starting with PLant . Their set, known for experimental electronic and punk influences, provided a gritty and raw sound that contrasted beautifully with the more polished performances on other stages. On The Block followed, delivering a mix of punk and electronic music that kept the energy high and the crowd moving late into the night.
Hollow Idols
At the Hollow Idols stage, the band Hollow Idols themselves performed. Their post-punk and gothic rock sound provided a dark and atmospheric experience that was both haunting and mesmerizing.
After Party
The festival officially ended with an after-party featuring The Brothers Macklovitch. The DJ duo, known for their funk, soul, and disco-inspired sets, kept the party going well into the early hours of the morning, ensuring that the final moments of Summer Well 2024 were just as memorable as the days that preceded it.
