The 9th edition of the UNTOLD Festival once again captivated the world with its unique blend of music, magic, and unforgettable experiences in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. Held in the vibrant city of Cluj-Napoca, this year’s festival attracted over 427,000 participants from all corners of the globe, including Europe, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Asia, and the UAE. Over four days and nights, attendees were treated to a spectacular lineup of 250 local and international artists, DJs, and producers across eight stages, creating a realm of pure joy and musical euphoria.

A Celebration of Music and Magic

The festival has earned its reputation as a home of pure joy, where music lovers from diverse backgrounds come together to celebrate freedom, tolerance, friendship, and the transformative power of music. This year, the lineup featured a star-studded array of artists, including the soulful Sam Smith, rock legend Lenny Kravitz, Burna Boy, Tom Grennan, and Louis Tomlinson, who each brought their unique flair to the main stage. Fans were also treated to electrifying performances by world-renowned DJs such as Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, Timmy Trumpet, and many more.

Memorable Moments on Every Stage

Day 1 saw an emotional debut from Louis Tomlinson, who connected deeply with the crowd through his hits “Just Hold On” and “Back to You.” British artist Tom Grennan also graced the stage, performing songs from his upcoming album for the first time. Purple Disco Machine and Steve Aoki, a staple of UNTOLD, kept the energy high, with Aoki collaborating with Romanian artist Irina Rimes for a special remix.

Day 2 was highlighted by a breathtaking performance from Lenny Kravitz, whose connection with the audience was palpable. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike delivered their signature energy, while Alok paid tribute to Romanian rock legend Nicu Covaci. The night continued with unforgettable sets from Lost Frequencies and Netsky.

Day 3 featured a spectacular performance by Sam Smith, marking his first appearance in Romania. His set was a celebration of love, freedom, and music, culminating in a special moment where he received the first-ever diamond record awarded in Romania. Swedish House Mafia’s powerful set and Salvatore Ganacci’s unique performance further solidified UNTOLD’s reputation as a world-class festival.

Day 4 concluded the festival with a high-energy performance from Burna Boy, who brought his vibrant sound to the main stage. Martin Garrix closed out the event with a set full of energy and surprises, leaving fans eager for next year’s edition.

As the 9th edition of UNTOLD came to a close, the excitement for the 10th anniversary edition, UNTOLD X, is already palpable. Remarkably, 40,000 fans have already secured their tickets for the 2025 festival, eager to experience the next chapter of this magical journey. The UNTOLD team is hard at work planning an unforgettable anniversary celebration that promises to be even more spectacular than ever before.
