Blending euphoric melodies with high-energy drops, DJ Lunax has quickly become one of the most exciting new names in electronic music. Hailing from Germany and known for her signature fusion of vocal-driven anthems, emotional hooks, and festival-ready beats, Lunax has carved out a space that resonates with both mainstream audiences and EDM purists.

We got chance to chat with her in person just before her set at World Club Dome 2025.

Your first single came in 2020 & then COVID happened, how you dealt the situation?

It’s really unreal because if you think I’m 23 and I’m going gold two times, that’s pretty crazy. And I’m really thankful for my community because they are supporting me the whole time, buying my merch, my new album just released this year and I’m very thankful about it. I was first by the federal police and then started the DJ career, it was a jump into nowhere because I’ve never been a DJ before and I can recommend it to everyone about when you’re happy with the thing you want to do, do it

How Lunax feels being a female in this men-dominated music industry?

It’s really a male-dominated scene and it’s pretty strong for me as a woman, you have to go with power, example there was one situation about a guy behind me and he was looking if I’m really playing the set or if I only play pre-recorded and it’s the the problem with most guys judgement about being beautiful so you can’t do anything. But in my community the guys comes to me because I play good music, and they have a lot of fun.

Your track Summer Lights, tell us more about it?

Summer nights is about a good summer night where you can feel free, ride on the Cabrio with your friends and go to the beach, look at the sunset. It’s a free song and everyone can say that’s my perfect summer night. In Germany its raining mostly and that’s a big problem, then I go to the plane, fly to Croatia and then I drive my Cabrio to the beach and see the sunset and then she say, oh, so you have the perfect summer night? And I was like, yeah. I have the summer night.

Any fan-favorite moment which you will be remembering for all your life?

I think the perfect fan moment when I was at Parookaville and performed there. Five minutes before my show nobody was there, 50 persons more or less. And then I start on play, I was under the table and say, everybody, are you there? Uh-huh, there were 2,000 people partying with me. And then when I go down from the stage, everyone wanted to take picture with me and was talking with me, everybody was coming for me and for my show.

You do kickboxing as well?

Yes, My mother has her own kickboxing and music is a completely different world altogether, but it’s too perfect because in the kickboxing you have to fight for your own and in the DJ scene, you have to fight again the female situation.
