Bucharest’s hottest new festival, Kapital, hit new heights on its second night as over 60,000 people gathered to celebrate music, freedom, and high-energy performances from some of the biggest names in the electronic scene.

Held at the National Arena, night two delivered an unforgettable experience for festivalgoers, with standout performances by Don Diablo, Salvatore Ganacci, Sickick, and R3hab, all lighting up the Mainstage in front of a sea of dancing fans.

Don Diablo: “Mulțumesc, România!”

Don Diablo kicked off his set with signature futuristic beats and a light show that electrified the crowd. The Dutch DJ connected with his Romanian fans by thanking them in Romanian for their love and support. Later, he posted heartfelt messages on social media, praising the energy he always feels from Romanian crowds.

Salvatore Ganacci Steals the Show, Again

Known for his wild and unpredictable stage antics, Salvatore Ganacci brought his trademark mix of humor and music, keeping the audience both laughing and dancing. Dressed in a FC Barcelona jersey bearing the iconic number 10 of the Romanian football legend Gheorghe Hagi, he closed his set with a surprise: inviting a Romanian artist on stage to drop infectious oriental beats, turning the arena into a massive party.

R3hab, Sickick, and Romanian National Pride

The night continued with Sickick and R3hab, who kept the energy alive with back-to-back explosive sets. R3hab honored his collaboration with Romanian star INNA by waving the Romanian flag during their hit “Rock My Body,” earning loud cheers from the crowd.

Techno Takes Over the Temple

While the Mainstage roared, the Temple stage offered a darker, more hypnotic experience. Techno queens Nina Kraviz and Deborah De Luca delivered powerful, extended sets that carried fans all the way to sunrise. In a touching moment of solidarity and friendship, the two artists hugged on stage before Deborah’s final high-energy tracks took over.

The Ark Brings Local Stars to the Spotlight

At The Ark, Romania’s rising hip-hop and trap scene was front and center. Acts like Marko Glass & Bacovia, IAN, CTC, Erika Isac, and M.G.L. rocked the stage. One of the night’s most emotional highlights came when M.G.L. surprised a young fan undergoing leukemia treatment in Italy with a special video message of encouragement, bringing tears and cheers from the audience.

Adding to the night’s emotional weight was a drone show tribute to Mihai Leu, honoring the legendary Romanian athlete, multiple champion in Box and Motor rally, in a visually stunning in memoriam performance.

What’s Next: Kapital 2026 & UNTOLD Expansion

The party is far from over. Tonight’s lineup includes Mëstiza, Lost Frequencies, Alok, Steve Aoki, and techno stars Mahony, John Summit, and Korolova at Temple, alongside a powerful mix of Romanian talents like IDK, Johny Romano, Rareș, Cojo, Rava, and Grasu XXL.
