A new chapter in Romanian tourism history has been written with the official launch of NIBIRU, the largest private investment ever made in Romania’s summer tourism industry. Unveiled today in Bucharest at exactly 11:11 AM, in the presence of investors, strategic partners, industry leaders, and media representatives, NIBIRU is poised to revolutionize the Black Sea coastline.

Located between Costinești and Tuzla, NIBIRU will span 1.6 million square meters, introducing a bold, visionary model of seasonal economic, cultural, and entertainment development.

The unveiling follows a viral national teaser campaign that stirred widespread curiosity: hundreds of influencers posted a mysterious image of a pink planet, today revealed to be NIBIRU.

A Visionary Concept Built from the Ground Up

NIBIRU is a fully planned seasonal city, designed for exclusive summer operation. It offers a seamless, high-end experience, complete with full infrastructure and immersive design. With over €50 million invested in Phase 1, it is the largest entertainment-focused private tourism development in Romania’s history.

“Romanians spend over €10 billion annually on vacations abroad. NIBIRU’s mission is to bring at least 10% of that home,” said Selly.

Grand Opening: Summer 2026
