The 10th anniversary edition of UNTOLD, one of the world’s largest music festivals, opened with a spectacular display of music, innovation, and emotion, drawing more than 230,000 fans from over 100 countries across the first two days.

From world premieres and legendary returns to powerful tributes and record-breaking debuts, UNTOLD X celebrated its past while setting the stage for the future, a new chapter titled UNTOLD ONE, officially launching in 2026.

DAY 1: An Explosive Start to a Decade-Defining Festival

With over 110,000 fans packed into Cluj-Arena and its surrounding festival grounds on Thursday, the first night of UNTOLD X delivered unforgettable performances from international icons and rising stars.

Don Diablo Premieres Global Tour Concept at UNTOLD X

Dutch DJ Don Diablo debuted his brand-new show concept for his 2026 world tour exclusively at UNTOLD X. With a custom stage setup that brought him closer to the crowd, unreleased tracks, and cutting-edge visuals, the performance was a gift to the festival’s loyal fans. He closed with a heartfelt message in Romanian:
“România, te iubesc. UNTOLD, îți mulțumesc!” — igniting a roaring ovation from the arena.

Rag’n’Bone Man Delivers Raw Emotion

The British soul powerhouse captivated the audience with a deeply emotional live show, performing hits like “Human,” “Skin,” and “Giant” alongside his live band. His authenticity and powerful voice resonated across the arena, earning him one of the most sincere responses of the evening.

Tujamo Honors Avicii in a Heartfelt Tribute

Returning artist Tujamo opened his set with high-energy beats and closed with a poignant tribute to Avicii, who headlined the very first UNTOLD in 2015. A video montage of Avicii played on the screens as fans lit up Cluj-Arena in remembrance. The German DJ ended his set with a playful twist:
“CLUJAMO” a wordplay that drew instant cheers from the Romanian crowd.

Tiësto Unites Generations with an Extended Set

Tiësto’s marathon set blended electronic anthems from past and present, including classics like “Traffic” and “Love Comes Again” into a seamless, high-energy journey. The show’s stunning visuals and nostalgic moments connected longtime fans and first-timers alike.

Romanian Artists Shine Bright

Local stars Minelli and Rareș opened the mainstage with heartfelt performances, reminding the crowd that UNTOLD is also a celebration of Romanian talent. Rareș’ hit “Cel mai fericit” became a crowd anthem, while Minelli’s infectious energy set the tone for the night.

From soul and house to rap and techno, UNTOLD X delivered musical variety:

  • Alchemy Stage featured top names in rap, trap, and dubstep, with explosive performances by Ian, Wilkinson, and BVCOVIA.

In a symbolic moment on the mainstage, the festival introduced its next chapter: UNTOLD ONE, a vision that promises to elevate the UNTOLD experience to a global movement starting in 2026. Tickets for UNTOLD 2026 became available on August 9 at 18:30.

Post Malone’s First-Ever Romanian Performance

Post Malone kicked off his European “Big Ass Tour” with his first show in Romania — and left fans in awe.
“It’s surreal to be here,” he said. “UNTOLD, thank you for this incredible debut. If you have a dream, don’t let anyone tell you it’s impossible.”
He performed hits like “White Iverson,” “Sunflower,” “Circles,” and “Rockstar”, then surprised fans by walking through the crowd and thanking his crew on-stage.

Armin van Buuren’s 3-Hour Celebration Set

A symbol of UNTOLD since its beginning, Armin van Buuren returned for a 3-hour extended set tailored for the anniversary. Featuring a customized stage and special guests including Sacha Marie Taylor and Norma Jean Martine, the show became a spiritual experience.
During “Let It Be For Love,” Armin descended into the crowd as thousands held up lights, creating a magical moment of unity. Wearing a “United” shirt and holding the Romanian flag, he declared:
“UNTOLD fans are the most beautiful in the world.”

A Living Room on Mainstage: Salvatore Ganacci

Always one to defy expectations, Salvatore Ganacci turned the mainstage into a bizarrely delightful living room setup, complete with a DJ booth above a bed. He later joined fans at the Time Stage, dancing among the crowd in true UNTOLD fashion.

Delia Keeps It Real with Viral Moments

Romanian pop icon Delia delivered a high-energy set with surprise appearances by Macanache, Nick from N&D, and Iustin HVNDS. Her rendition of the viral hit “Oțelul Galați” remix brought laughter and cheers from the crowd.

More Unmissable Moments on Secondary Stages

Across the festival’s other stages, the momentum never slowed:

  • Dom Dolla made his UNTOLD debut at Galaxy, followed by a cinematic set from Ukrainian duo ARTBAT.

  • Cezar, Nu Zau b2b SEPP, and Poltom brought local flavor and deep grooves to the underground electronic scene.

  • Alchemy Stage hosted legendary dubstep pioneer Rusko, as well as authentic sets from Romanian favorites Macanache and Vlad Dobrescu.
