Summer Well 2025 wrapped up in spectacular fashion, delivering a final night that was nothing short of electrifying. The Stirbey Domain in Buftea transformed into a surreal playground of music, light, and collective joy, culminating in a much-anticipated performance from Australian electro-pop legends Empire of the Sun.

Their set was a full-sensory experience equal parts concert and visual spectacle. As frontman Luke Steele emerged in an array of dazzling outfits, the crowd roared with excitement, singing along to classics like “Walking on a Dream”, still a fan favorite nearly two decades after its release. With pulsating lights and dreamlike visuals, the performance felt like stepping into a futuristic fairytale.

But the magic didn’t stop there.

The final day of the festival was a celebration of genre-blending and boundary-pushing artistry. On the Main Stage, British band BANNERS opened with an emotive set, paving the way for the flamboyant chaos of La Femme and the anthemic, high-energy show from Palaye Royale. As night fell, Empire of the Sun redefined what it means to headline, fusing psychedelic rave with visual poetry.

Meanwhile, the Sunset Stage offered an introspective contrast. Lana Lubany enchanted with her genre-fluid melodies, while Elderbrook turned introspection into a dancefloor. Over at the Electro Punk Club, The Dare delivered a set pulsing with raw energy and offbeat charisma—proving once again why he’s one of the most talked-about new names in electronic music.

More Than Music: A Festival That’s Evolving

Summer Well 2025 proved that a festival can be more than just a string of concerts it can be a cultural statement, a living installation, and a space for community. The grounds were dotted with interactive art, immersive installations, and corners of quiet reflection each space curated with intention and care.

Attendees didn’t just come to watch they became part of the performance. Whether at the air hockey tables, lounging on the grass, or dancing beneath laser beams, festival-goers collectively built a temporary utopia. For many, it was more than a weekend escape it was a reconnection to self and others.

A Home Beyond Home

Now in its 14th year, Summer Well has solidified its role as one of Europe’s most beloved boutique festivals. And it’s only getting better. As it continues to evolve alongside its audience, it never loses sight of its essence: music, nature, community, and emotion.

Next year, Summer Well returns to the Stirbey Domain on the second weekend of August 2026, celebrating its 15th anniversary. If 2025 was any indication, you’ll want to book early.
