Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has announced the dates for its 30th anniversary edition, set to take place from October 21 to 25, 2026. Following a record-breaking 2025 edition that welcomed 600,000 visitors and nearly 3,500 artists across more than 1,200 events, the organisation is now looking ahead to celebrating three decades of ADE and electronic music culture.

The 2025 program showcased a diverse mix of electronic music subgenres, live acts, and cultural collaborations through the Festival and Arts & Culture programs. Each year, ADE continues to expand its diversity and inclusivity, reflecting the full spectrum of global electronic music.

Highlights included a series of ADE Opening Specials across the city, the “black queer church” experience PRAISE by Honey Dijon x Audio Obscura at Nieuwe Kerk, large-scale shows such as Klangkuenstler at Ziggo Dome and Awakenings at its new SugarFactory venue, as well as intimate underground events at SkateCafe, Garage Noord, RAUM, Klaproos, Tilla Tec, Studio Wieman, Lofi, and De Bajes.

The ADE Conference introduced several successful upgrades in 2025, including the addition of the Rosewood venue for ADE Pro and the relocation of ADE Lab to Westergas. These changes created new opportunities for networking and learning from high-level professional discussions at Pro to immersive experiences for emerging talent at Lab.

This year’s conference featured prominent artists, industry pioneers, and major global brands. Speakers and participants included Skepta, KI/KI, Eris Drew, Chris Stussy, TxC, ANNA, and Chris Liebing, alongside representatives from Google DeepMind, Epic Games, SoundCloud, Spotify, COLORSxSTUDIOS, Helix Records, Sony Music, and Tomorrowland Brasil, among many others.

1996–2026: Three Decades of Shaping Electronic Music

Since its founding in 1996, ADE has evolved into the most influential platform in electronic music, helping establish the genre as both an art form and a thriving global industry. Over the past 30 years, it has served as a catalyst for creativity, collaboration, and innovation across the electronic music landscape.

To mark its 30th anniversary, ADE will unveil a series of special events, initiatives, and collaborations throughout the coming months, celebrating three decades of driving electronic music forward.
