EXIT, one of the world’s leading music festivals, is entering an exciting new chapter. After 25 unforgettable years at the Petrovaradin Fortress, the festival has announced that it will not take place there next year. The decision comes amid political pressure from Serbian authorities over EXIT’s public support for student protests.

Instead, EXIT is taking its unique energy and spirit worldwide, launching a global tour that will bring the festival’s signature atmosphere to extraordinary destinations, from the sun-soaked coasts of Malta and Croatia to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the vibrant landscapes of India.

“After 25 years at the Petrovaradin Fortress, EXIT is now spreading its wings to the world. We aim to unite continents through our festivals and carry the spirit of freedom wherever we go. For us, music has always been more than entertainment, it’s a powerful force that brings people together and builds bridges between nations and cultures. Our mission is to awaken new generations to believe that a better world is possible, and that it all starts with each one of us.” – Festival founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević

EXIT revealed the first tour destinations during its traditional Amsterdam Dance Event party, held 50 meters above the city, at the spectacular Crane Faralda.

Croatia will host the first stop of EXIT’s world tour with the Sea Star Festival in the stunning Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, Istria. Over the years, Sea Star has welcomed global icons like The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Paul Kalkbrenner, Fatboy Slim, Amelie Lens, and Nina Kraviz.

In June, the celebration continues in Macedonia, followed by a summer takeover in Malta this August, organized in partnership with G7 Events, one of the island’s top local promoters.

Come October, EXIT will head to Egypt, where modern beats will echo beside the Great Pyramids of Giza. Partnering with Venture Lifestyle Egypt’s premier event promoter behind shows by Solomun, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, Anyma, and others, EXIT will blend electronic music with one of the most iconic backdrops on Earth.

In November, the journey reaches two cities that never sleep: Mumbai and Belgrade. This marks EXIT’s first-ever event in India, in Mumbai, the country’s business hub and the heart of Bollywood entertainment.

For fans in Serbia, EXIT has something truly special in store. The award-winning No Sleep Festival, named Best New European Festival, is set to evolve into one of Europe’s biggest raves. Belgrade’s legendary nightlife will once again welcome top-tier artists like Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Indira Paganotto, Bicep, Lee Burridge, I Hate Models, and Artbat.

More details about each destination along with the full EXIT Global Tour 2026 program will be announced in the coming weeks.
