Last weekend, Bootshaus Cologne delivered one of its most memorable nights of the season, not only because Above & Beyond headlined, but because the entire lineup created a perfectly crafted musical journey from start to finish.
The night opened with Damian Duda, who set the tone with a warm, progressive-leaning set that slowly drew the crowd in. His deep grooves and melodic builds gave the early hours a hypnotic feel, allowing the room to fill and settle into the night’s emotional direction.
Estiva followed, raising the energy with his signature blend of driving rhythms and shimmering trance textures with tracks like “Metamorphoses”. His transitions were seamless, pushing the atmosphere from “warm-up” into true lift-off as the crowd began to move as one.
By the time Above & Beyond took the stage, the room was primed. Their set felt monumental yet intimate rich pads, emotional vocals, and those signature Anjuna-style builds that sent waves of goosebumps through the crowd. Singalongs made the night with “Carry Me”, “Sun & Moon” and “We’re All We Need”. Bootshaus’ powerful sound system added weight to every drop, turning the main room into a swirling, melodic sanctuary of light and feeling.
Closing duties fell to Farius, who kept the momentum alive without overpowering the emotional afterglow. His energetic, uplifting style was the perfect finale, giving dancers a last burst of euphoria before the lights came up.
What made this event exceptional was the journey: four artists, each adding a distinct chapter to a night that felt curated with intention. Entire production of Bootshaus was on another level whether be it the sound system, or the pyro system hanging down the roof to give that signature experience.
