Thailand will host its Third Edition of The Electric Daisy Carnival from December 18-20, 2026 at Rhythm Park, Phuket, which represents a significant shift in timing from Insomniac’s traditional January event to an end-of-year holiday period event. The decision comes on the heels of the record-breaking success of the January 2026 festival which attracted over 100,000 attendees over 3 days and solidified Thailand’s position as an emerging Global Music, Travel & Lifestyle Destination. In addition to aligning EDC Thailand with Phuket’s tourism peak, the December dates will allow festival attendees to combine their experience at a world-class Electronic Dance Music festival with the opportunity to enjoy beaches, island excursions, and travel during the holiday season all within one trip.

This past edition provided the full-scale EDC experience at par with Insomniac’s International quality standards featuring some of EDM’s Biggest Acts, amazing stage productions, the latest in lighting & sound technology, including fire & fireworks displays and some of the largest art installations ever produced for an EDC event. In addition to Insomniac’s Worldwide experience, EDC Thailand introduced fans to some unique concepts exclusive to Thailand including Downtown EDC, Binary Beach & Hotel EDC Thailand, and a host of interactive attractions such as rides, The Kandi Casino, the Diva Show and Karaoke Battle. These elements combined International Dance Music Culture with elements of Local Identity creating an experience like no other in Southeast Asia.

The experience at EDC Thailand will continue to evolve in December 2026 when EDC introduces a new All-Access Experience Pass. The new pass includes access to the Thursday Night Official Opening Beach Party and Daytime Parties on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This means that Headliners can enjoy the EDC vibe all weekend long, not just on the festival grounds. The new format of EDC Thailand will be a more extensive celebration across Phuket’s beaches and venues, allowing travelers to experience more than 3 nights of live music.

According to Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella, when selecting December as EDC Thailand’s date, Insomniac listened to the fans who wanted additional time to enjoy Thailand surrounding the festival. Future Vibes Thailand Chairman and CEO Nopmanus Sungkasap also expressed that the success of EDC Thailand demonstrates to the world that Thailand is ready for world-class music festivals and is developing a long-term vision to make Phuket a sustainable global music and lifestyle destination.
