The newly formed alliance Parallel Worlds, bringing together respected trance producers Paul Denton and Will Rees, makes its first appearance on Dreamstate Records with their driving tech-trance release, “Get High.”

Hailing from Dublin and Wales respectively, Denton and Rees have each built formidable reputations over nearly twenty years in the trance scene. In 2025, their paths officially converged under the Parallel Worlds banner which is a project designed to channel their shared passion for harder-edged club music. Their debut on Dreamstate marks the next chapter in that evolution.

“Get High” delivers a no-nonsense dose of tech trance intensity. Fueled by thunderous percussion, rolling bass sequences, sharp techno-leaning stabs, and looping vocal hooks, the track wastes no time establishing its peak-time credentials. Midway through, it slams into a stark, industrial-tinged breakbeat passage, heightening the tension before snapping back into its relentless groove.

The concept for Parallel Worlds emerged following a standout back-to-back performance at London’s Ministry of Sound. While the duo had previously collaborated on 2020’s “Fluidity”, a release that drew strong backing from heavyweight names across the trance spectrum. A return B2B set at the FSOE London showcase solidified their direction, leading to the launch of the project and their inaugural single, “Liberty,” last year.

Since then, Parallel Worlds has steadily gained traction. Their debut appearance for Kearnage at Trance Sanctuary saw them preview new material that rapidly resonated with fans. With performances spanning events such as Luminosity and Unkonscious Festival, the duo continues to build global momentum.
