As the global electronic music circuit begins locking in its key dates for 2026, one of the UK’s most influential gatherings has just dropped a major update, Brighton Music Conference 2026 (BMC) is officially gearing up for its return from May 20–23, promising another immersive takeover of Brighton’s iconic seaside venues.

Set against the unmistakable backdrop of the south coast, think beach views and the famous pier, BMC has built a reputation as more than just a conference where industry meets culture, education blends with nightlife, and connections are made that shape careers.

The initial lineup already reads like a who’s who of electronic music with artists and industry heavyweights such as Anja Schneider, Anne Savage, Arielle Free, Beardyman, Dave Seaman, and Judge Jules are among the early confirmations, alongside influential figures like Kenny Dope of Masters At Work and Phil Hartnoll from Orbital.

One of BMC’s strongest draws has always been its practical edge, and 2026 looks no different, the workshop theatre run in collaboration with pointblank Music School returns with a focus on real-world skills and one can expect sessions covering everything from social media strategy to music production, DJ techniques, and immersive audio.

After a successful debut last year, the conference’s well-being programme is back and expanding, hosted at one of Brighton’s beloved beachfront venues, the initiative tackles topics that are often overlooked in the music industry burnout, mental health, and the pressures of creative work. Speakers including Anne Savage and Phil Hartnoll will share personal insights, while daily yoga and soundbath sessions aim to bring some balance to the typically high-energy environment.
