Electric Castle throws the next party of our lives with its biggest line-up we’ve ever seen. Located in Bontida, Romania, and also our hearths the festival drops names like Twenty One Pilots, Foals, The Neighborhood, Fisher, Zhu, Rezz and many others. Launched in 2009, Twenty One Pilots is the author of one of the best rock albums of the last decade, according to Billboard’s chart; “Blurryface” recorded global sales of 6.5 million albums and 4 platinum discs. In the Billboard chart of the best rock songs released in the last 10 years, the band has no less than 3 singles (Heathens, Ride, Stressed Out). And things look just as promising for their latest album Trench (2018), which already has 3 tracks that reached No. 1.

Fans of the band are boiling with their newly released logo, the international press speculating that it is actually announcing a new album. With a little bit of luck, at the 8th Electric Castle edition, we might have some new hits signed by Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun.

After 15 years of being able to ignore the trends of the music industry, focusing only on their own style, Foals have grown organically, today becoming one of the best live British acts. The leader of the indie band, Yannis Philippakis, is the one who inspires them with the special force, being the creative source behind their 6 albums, which all reached the Top 10 in UK.

Their latest project – the double album “Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost”, which peaked in the UK this fall – perfectly reflects their ambition to create not only good music but also music that can change mindsets, being centered around the problems created by climate change.

They have always wanted to be different from everything else on the alternative scene and this has always kept the public’s attention: The Neighborhood arrives at Electric Castle with new material, in a much more experimental style than the hits that made them. such as “Sweater Weather” (No. 1 in the 2013 alternative charts and double platinum disc) or “RIP 2 My Youth”.

The Australian tech-house producer FISHER only took 3 years to move from Grammy-nominated professional surfer DJ in 2019 to the Best Dance Recording category and in 2020 as one of the leading artists on the Electric Castle poster. In 2014, the album “Moves Like Ms. Jackson” made a sensation in the world of electro music, without anyone being able to say who is behind it. With the Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording and the announcement of signing with a major record label, Steven Zhu partially waives his ambition to remain anonymous. The American producer will bring to Electric Castle in 2020 the unique show built around “Ringos Desert”, his most recent album instantly no. 1 in the iTunes Electronic Album Chart. Isabelle Rezazadeh known by her stage name Rezz is a Canadian Dj and record producer from Niagara Falls, Ontario making waves in the nowadays music industry thanks to her dark and sinister techno. Why the spiral LED glasses? Because she likes the hypnotic beats and she likes to pass the same feeling to her fans. Her breakout track will probably be Serenity, signed with Deadmau5’s Mau5trap label.

The subscriptions for the 8th edition of Electric Castle are available at the price of 499 lei plus taxes, the festival also offering the possibility of purchasing them in installments.

The eighth edition of the Electric Castle festival will take place between 15-19 July 2020 in the gardens of Banffy Castle near Cluj-Napoca.
