As we all know , Bose has made a name in the world by manufacturing top notch audio devices , now the company is in a lawsuit

A Bose user named Kyle Zak sued Bose, one of the premier headphone companies. He claims that Bose shares customer information through the Bose Connect. An app which is used to connect smartphones with wireless headphones via Bluetooth. The app asks users for contact information including the users’ addresses. Zak has sued Bose and is seeking damages worth $5 million. Zak says they collect data and create profiles of their customers based on music listening histories.

Bose though has come out and rubbished these claims and say that they do not share customer data with anyone. They issued a statement saying “we don’t wiretap your communications.” Will be interesting to see if Mr. Zak’s accusations are true.

Here’s what the company had to say ;
