At about 10 pm on the 2nd of October, a gunman gunned down the people attending the concert of country singer Jason Aldean.
According to the police the events took place in this order:
-At 10 pm the police received calls about the ongoing massacre.
-Soon after pictures and videos of the horrifying incident surfaced social media.


-Police quickly responded to the calls and units were dispatched.
-Police successfully shot the suspect in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
-The gunman was identified as 64-year old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite.
-The police searched the suspect’s room and found various types of arms and explosives and two cars.

They are in current search of the suspect’s roommate to find the motive of committing this horrifying crime. The police are still unsure on why the man opened fire at the concert goers ending 50 innocents lives and injuring 200.

The band performing at the event deeply grieved by the incident but managed to make it out in time.
According to the statement given by victim Meghan Kearney,”We heard what sounded like firecrackers going off. Then all of a sudden we heard what sounded like a machine gun. People started screaming that they were hit… When we started running out there were probably a couple hundred on the ground,”.

This incident has certainly been the most violent and unforgettable tragedy Las Vegas has seen and it wont be taken lightly.

According to the sheriff Lombardo the suspect shot down at the victims from the 32nd floor of the building and used a machine gun to fire onto the crowd. The sheriff also stated that any type of evidence to the killings should be sent to the department as it could be beneficial to the investigation. He also told the families of the victims to contact the department in order to respectfully take their loved ones.

The Sheriff has stated that a complete conference with all the details will take place soon.
