Flume takes inspiration from a wide variety of sources and scenes distilling his sound into a melodic bass heavy style of his own.Flume’s tryst with music started in 2011,when he entered an original artists competition with Austalian record label Future Classic.For the contest,he sumbitted the tracks “Sleepless”, “Over You” and “Paper Thin”. He won the contest and was subsequently signed to the label.The Australian genius grabbed the attention of XLR8R, Electronic Beats, Triple J, FBi and many more in less than a year.

1.Flume wrote his first album when hostelling around Europe on his laptop.

2.Flume won his first ever Grammy award at an age of just 25 years for best dance album.

3.His single “Never Be Like You” has achieved Platinum sales in seven countries.

4.When he was 11 years old, he got a free music production disk in a box of Nutrigrain cereal. He started playing around with that, which certainly made the Aussie curios to experiment his own stuff of electronic music.
