Electric Daisy Carnival has just stepped up their game by announcing an option of camping at the festival in 2018 . Pasquale Rotella , Founder and CEO of Insomniac , announced earlier this year that they’re going to have an option of camping at the festival site , the mystery was undoubtedly how the camping would be handled . That’s no more a mystery now as the details for camping have just been revealed . Camping at EDC is going to be a VIP experience even at the most basic level . EDC Vegas is not going to be a “ bring your own tent “ kind of experience as The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is not an ordinary camping site . After all , it is in a desert .Pasquella Rotella , mentioned that Insomniac is building a full center camp area ‘ The Mesa ‘ which will be accessible to all the campers . Some notable features of The Mesa include the Kickoff Party and Daily pool Parties , Rave Aerobics , Go Kart Racing , Interactive Art Installations and many more ! These are not ordinary tents , so all the tent camping options are fully enclosed , dust – controlled shift pod 2 structures with comfortable artificial glass flooring , air conditioning , interior lighting , 4-port USB strips , and include one vehicle pass .
