Arad Open Air, an unforgettable adventure that’s dedicated to all music lovers; every year it combines different types of music from electronic, to rock to hip-hop. Proposing a full experience from the beginning, the festival puts our experience from last year in seventh heaven. The festival is all set for its fourth edition at the International Airport Arad, Romania on the 28th and 20th of June, Arad Open Air brings with it 3 scenes with big names, activities for your entertainment and a nice place to party all night long. We surely have to mention that, last year, the main stage was placed around an airplane, one of the parties was held at the shed, the entrance was decorated as plane doors and food court and shopping was looking like duty free.
To put in perspective its popularity, last year they thought that in the daytime you could enjoy workshops, kite contests, hot air balloon tours and giant slides based on the idea of flying. By the night the only thing you got left was to break your dancing shoes by the scene filled with names like Nervo, ATB, Vanotek, Narcotic Sounds, Sj Almund, Mahmut Orhan, Gojira & Planeth H, Vița de Vie, Subcaprați, Șuie Paparude, OCS, Vama, and many more. The event itself was a musical performance, focused on the place and its theme.
This year, the festival is the right place if someone is to ask you where you want to see some of your favorite artists like Markus Schulz, Burak Yeter, Swanky Tunes, Mahmut Orhan, Mihigh, Petre Inspirescu or B.U.G. Mafia. Even though the line-up is not at its final form, we couldn’t express our emotions for Markus Schulz. Nominated three times America’s best DJ on DJ Times Magazine, after one year of pause, and this year in DJ MAG TOP place 93 of 100, it’s his first time to be in Arad. We knew his concerts form a number of performances at Untold or in the capital of Romania, Bucharest.
But our grin and eyes are expressing our joy at the sound of Petre Inspirescu’s announcement. His dramatic impact on Romania’s electronic music made his name heard all over Romanian minimal tech-house music.
