2018 saw the return of Cream Weekender to Butlin’s Minehead for the second year, and the hype around it certainly showed that the event is now a solid fixture in the winter-clubbing calendar. So hardcore fans across the UK and beyond will be more than pleased to hear it’s back for another outing this December, and it looks set to be bigger than ever.
Like its previous edition, the weekender is a multi-room showcase of everything that makes the UK and indeed Cream a leading force in dance music. Some massive names who’ve been a solid presence on Cream billings, from Creamfields to Nation and beyond, are set to join the fray. It’s a varied and forward thinking line-up, with headliners including Chase & Status (DJ Set), Faithless (DJ Set) and Roger Sanchez, yet perhaps one of the biggest treats for a weekender to date is that Cream Classical will be making its debut which will see the 50 piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra perform some of the biggest tracks from Cream’s iconic dancefloor.
The legends will be joined by the biggies Danny Howard, Danny Rampling, Eddie Halliwell, John 00 Fleming, John Kelly, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Judge Jules, K-Klass, Mauro Picotto, Mistajam, Seb Fontaine, Sonique, and Tall Paul. The event is going to be a proper electronic music extravaganza from trance, to house, and beyond, it’s a roster of talent that’s as diverse as a major festival, perfect to while away the winter blues and round off the year with a bang.
Cream Weekender is set to take place on Friday 6th – Monday 9th December 2019 at Butlin’s – Minehead, Somerset. Get your passes here.
