Rezz is one of the prime examples of how a producer can succeed in the world of electronic dance music if he/she develops their own unique and signature sound. The Canadian producer has just released ‘Dark Age’, the first single off her forthcoming EP titled ‘Beyond The Senses’. The 6-track EP is slated to release on 24th July.

Rezz released her debut single through Skrillex’s imprint OWSLA sub-label Nest. Since then, most of her music, including 2 LPs, were released on fellow Canadian producer deadmau5’s label mau5trap. But with her latest offering, Rezz decides to go independent and registers the tracks under ‘REZZ Music Inc‘.

The 22 year old producer is at her hypnotic best as she unleashes her dark side with the gritty downtempo track ‘Dark Age’. Talking about the EP, Rezz told Billboard Dance:

“Dark Age was the first song I completed for this project and I think it best fits the vibe of the title & visual components which will be integrated into my new show. The purpose of Beyond the Senses is to have listeners imagine life beyond the limitations of their basic human senses. Each piece of the project (the music, the tour visuals, and the virtual reality component) will work together to reflect the concept of living beyond your senses.”
